Centralis and CGP teamed up to design Foresight®, a system that revolutionizes corporate board meetings.

The Challenge

The founders of CGP had a mission – improve the performance of Fortune 500 boards of directors by alleviating bureaucratic stress and focusing leaders on the most critical issues.

They envisioned a product that would track time spent on common topics and analyze overall efficiency, providing recommendations to optimize board meetings.

CGP turned to Centralis to make that vision a reality.

 

The Process

Centralis and CGP worked closely to develop the initial prototype of Foresight®. We met with CGP frequently to learn about their vision and how board meetings were run so that we had the necessary context for our designs.

Using object-oriented UX (OOUX), we mapped out the components of Foresight® and how they interacted, which made various features easier to visualize and replicate. Throughout this process we ran usability testing sessions to ensure that our concept continued to make sense to end users.

After many rounds of workshopping, designing, and testing, we built a prototype that CGP could use to demonstrate Foresight® to investors.

 

The Impact

Centralis brought Foresight® from idea to reality, placing it in the hands of potential users and investors.

Our constant communication ensured that our final prototype was exactly what CGP was looking for, and with every meeting we could see their excitement growing as their product came to life.

Additionally, our implementation of object-oriented UX translated our design into the language of software, such that the development team was able to take our work and run with it.

 

Our Value

Centralis’ design process for CGP was full circle, as we were in communication with both our clients and their end users as the product evolved.

We iterated Foresight® through multiple rounds of usability testing to ensure that our design fit CGP’s vision and resonated with end users.

Foresight® started as a back-of-the-napkin idea, and now has come to fruition on the market.
